Visits to the chiropractor are both safe and very effective, helping you have a healthy, more comfortable pregnancy. We’ll take into consideration your and your baby’s health, recommending care specific to your needs.

Typically, we advise one visit every two weeks up to week 30 then once per week.

Exercising to Be Your Healthiest

Always be careful and consider the potential risks of various activities and decide if you are willing to take that risk or not. If you exercised before pregnancy, keep up your routine, adding an emphasis on core strength. If you didn’t exercise before pregnancy, start with a light routine focusing on core exercises.

Fitness Tip: Core strength is important! Building core muscles has been shown to result in fewer days off work during pregnancy, shorter labor and faster post-delivery recovery.

Safe Travels for Mom and Baby

Many experts agree that pregnant women are safe to fly up to week 36 of pregnancy. The 2nd trimester is the best travel time as fatigue and morning sickness is usually less at these times.

Each airline has different rules and restrictions that you want to be aware of before you book your flight. Remember to get up and walk around frequently to reduce the risk of blood clots in your legs.

Traveling Tip: If you are traveling outside the country, know what medical resources are available at your destination. Consider getting travel insurance and know what it covers.
